CWB W47.1 — Canadian Welding Bureau certification.
CWB W47.1 is the certification standard for fabricators of welded steel construction in Canada. It requires a Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for each weld type, qualified welders for each procedure, and ongoing audit by the Canadian Welding Bureau. Every weld on every Span Line project is traceable to a qualified welder running a qualified procedure.

Engineering — Ontario P.Eng.
Every structural drawing that leaves our shop is stamped by a Professional Engineer registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). This is the legal authority in Ontario for structural engineering practice — no other signature is acceptable on a permit submission for a building in this province.
