Conveyor support platforms. Engineered to the conveyor's spec, not generic.
Elevated structural steel for conveyor lines, pickup belts, takeaway systems, and accumulation runs — designed to the conveyor manufacturer's point loads, dynamic load factors, and service-access geometry. The platforms install before the conveyor arrives, sized to the spec the integrator provides.
Conveyor before mezzanine.
A conveyor support platform is a specific kind of equipment-support platform — same engineering approach, same point-load discipline. The difference is that the conveyor itself drives most of the design parameters: the manufacturer provides foot-pattern drawings, per-foot load, dynamic load factors, and the required service clearances. We design the platform to those numbers, not to a generic uniform-load rating.
Common applications
- Pickup / induction belts — elevated structure for the conveyor that feeds a sortation system from a pick mezzanine.
- Takeaway conveyors — pack-out platform takeaway running to ship-out doors.
- Accumulation tables — buffer conveyors with their own elevated structure for service access.
- Cross-docks — overhead conveyor between dock doors, with elevated catwalks for inspection. See catwalks.
- Manufacturing / process conveyors — paint line, assembly line, or wash-line conveyors with elevated structural support.
Detail decisions
- Foot pattern from the conveyor manufacturer — we ask for the conveyor shop drawing showing exact foot location, per-foot weight, and dynamic load factor. Without it the platform is over-designed and over-priced.
- Vibration tuning — high-speed sortation conveyors transmit harmonic load; isolation pads sized to operating frequency where required.
- Service catwalk — almost every conveyor support platform we ship has an integrated service catwalk for belt access, motor inspection, and cleanout.
- Drip trays / catch pans — for conveyors carrying product that may spill (food, fluid, granular).
- Code-required guards — 42" guards along the catwalk; cable infill where small parts could pass through.
Typical parameters

- Lead time5 – 8 weeks from sign-off + conveyor shop drawing
- All mezzanines & work platforms
- Equipment-support platforms — broader category
- Catwalks — typical service access
- Work platforms — for pack-out at the conveyor end
