Halton Hills is really two industrial pictures at once. Georgetown and Acton have established employment areas built up over decades — older buildings, tighter column grids, modest clear heights, and slabs poured for a different era of use. That is the profile where a mezzanine has to be engineered around what is already there rather than dropped into open space, and where the slab check under the columns genuinely matters.
To the south, the Premier Gateway employment lands along the 401 corridor are a different proposition — newer, taller buildings where high clear heights reward multi-tier decks and deep storage mezzanines. We work in both, and the design conversation is not the same in each.
Halton Hills also has a substantial base of municipal, institutional, and school-board buildings — arenas, works yards, community centres, and schools. On those the recurring job is rooftop access and mechanical servicing, usually on a roof with an active membrane warranty. That is why most of our institutional work here is specified as a fully weighted, non-penetrating system.
