Industrial mezzanines & steel stairs in Ottawa.
Span Line engineers and fabricates structural mezzanines, work platforms, and steel stairs for Ottawa-area facilities, then ships them east — with modular, bolt-together detailing so your crew or ours can assemble cleanly on site.
In short: We're an Ontario fabricator supplying Ottawa with mezzanines, platforms, and stairs, engineered and stamped to OBC 2024. Ottawa is a ship-focused market for us — steel is crated and freighted east, with modular bolt-together detailing for clean on-site assembly, and install on larger projects.

Engineered here, shipped east.
Ottawa's floor-space demand sits in its industrial and business parks more than in heavy manufacturing — Kanata and Stittsville to the west, the east-end areas around Sheffield and Cyrville, and the Ottawa Business Park, served by the 417 and 416. Warehousing, distribution, construction supply, and government-adjacent operations all need the same structural steel: storage mezzanines, work platforms, and code-compliant stairs.
At around four and a half hours east, Ottawa is a ship-first market for us. The steel is engineered, fabricated, and finished in our shop, then crated and freighted out — and we lean on modular, bolt-together detailing so it goes together cleanly on site, whether your contractor sets it or we send a crew for a larger project. It's all stamped to the same OBC 2024 that governs the Ottawa permit.

Span Line Systems is the industrial mezzanine and stair division of Art Metal Canada. Drawings are stamped by a PEO-licensed P.Eng. on staff; welding is done to CWB W47.1 and CSA W59 by our own certified fabricators. We don't white-label the fabrication or subcontract it out — the shop that draws it builds it.
