For automotive and the distribution hub.
Woodstock sits right at the 401/403 junction, which has made it a magnet for automotive assembly and large-scale distribution — a major auto plant, plus food and consumer-goods logistics operations drawn by the highway crossroads and rail access, concentrated in the Pattullo Ridge business park and the Commerce Way employment lands. The buildings tend to be big and tall, ideal ground for storage mezzanines and multi-tier decks.
The automotive side calls for equipment platforms and process-access steel built to CWB weld standards; the distribution side calls for deep storage decks and pick platforms. We build both. At about 90 minutes out, Woodstock is within our install range, and modular bolt-together detailing covers supply-only orders cleanly.

Site measure
A ~30-minute visit to capture clear heights, column grid, machine footprint, and slab capacity — Woodstock's tall distribution boxes often open up multi-tier options.
-

Stamped drawings
Engineered and P.Eng.-stamped to OBC 2024 in-house — the set the City of Woodstock Building Services needs for the permit.

Install or supply
On most Woodstock projects we install with our own crew; for supply-only orders we ship contractor-ready with erection drawings and modular detailing.
See the full engineering & install process for how each stage is controlled.
Span Line Systems is the industrial mezzanine and stair division of Art Metal Canada. Drawings are stamped by a PEO-licensed P.Eng. on staff; welding is done to CWB W47.1 and CSA W59 by our own certified fabricators. We don't white-label the fabrication or subcontract it out — the shop that draws it builds it.
